Buffalo Flood Systems is pleased to announce the installation of the Buffalo Barrier and Buffalo HD Flood Barriers at the Twin Peaks Shopping Center in Hong Kong. The shops were flooded in 2018 after Typhoon Mangkhut.
Along with our standard reveal fixings, the customer required bespoke solution for the flood barrier. The barrier to be installed in front of a glass store front. Our engineers designed an innovative fixing allowing the barrier to be fixed and installed against the glass within a few minutes. This means when no flood risk exisits, the system is demountable and the store front looks normal, maintaining the aesthetic features of the shop.
